Hi everyone!

I'd like to remove the complete dashboard on a w124 300D TURBO. Now i know its a huge job, but i did a quick search for help on this forum, and i've found out that Keith did it, and even took pictures to share in order to help those who are willing to do this thing by themselves.

Problem is, that the photos are not accessible anymore (the thread:

http://forums.mercedesclub.org.uk/showthread.php?t=9794

)

So... if anyone has these photos, please share them... ofcourse, if someone has a set of pictures where he/she takes apart the dasboard of a w124, dont hesitate to share them :)

thanks in advance

Its nothing big... just the evaporator replacement, fixing the cruise controll, fixing the air vents, since one tube seems to be blocked by something, and i want to fix the cables underneath the dash, becouse the previous owner of the car made some serious modifications, i guess he didnt have the money to buy genuine mercedes parts.
He replaced several relays, to ford relays and such, wich is no big deal, the car is working properly, but he used duct tape instead of soldering... so now that my evaporator needs refurbishing, i think the time has come to clear the mess.

dash removal W124

Hi
Is there any chance I could have a copy of the dash removal instructions for the W124? I have a 1988 300TE with fan that needs replacing and probably other AC stuff too - not working at all at present !!

I've started removal but might as well be wearing a blindfold!??! ;)

cheers
