w124 e280 heater blower

H i guys im new to the forum but not mercedes i ve had a few. i got this 1 for nothing for doing a favour but the heater blower does not work on 1 2 3 on the control on the dash i need to get a haynes manual but the fuse is ok i dont no where the relay is ive checked the wiring at the dash and all seems ok can anybody help me fix my problem? cheers andy

The brushes on the motor are worn out. Replace them. Lots of info on this forum about this if you do a search

i forgot to say its a saloon and its a 1995 model cheers andy
