Hi all and happy new year.

I foolishly moved my car on the drive a little a couple of days ago and now it won't start again. I think it is flooded.

It cranks and won't start. I can hear the fuel pump prime and smell petrol.

If I remove the fuel pump relay it will start then die when the fuel runs out.

When I replace the relay it cranks and won't start. This is repeatable.

I have tried flooring the throttle as per manual to clear out the engine and that does not work.

Can a bad fuel pump relay cause over fuelling or should I be looking at something else?

History is good on the car with new loom hg coils plugs and ecu etc and it has been reliable since ecu replaced 6 months ago.

Thanks in advance,

Dan
