Hello bet this has been asked loads. my 1995 w124 is suffering from the old problem of rotting front wing and also the rusting latter shape boot lid. Does anyone make fibre glass replacements? Tried to get some in the same colour from a breakers but most of them said all the cars thay had in were rusty here too!

Hello and how are you :D

Why not get the new metal ones and treat them before you fit them. The pattern versions are cheaper but take a little longer to fit.

No one make glass fiber versions

Pattern jobbies are around £30, and take a lot longer to fit. Genuine wings are around £130 and are less hassle fit time. You pays your money.....

I have to say from experience that the pattern wings available today are almost as good a fit as the genuine items, yea they do need a bit of tweaking here and there but in general for a 10+ yr old car they can be a lifesaver..

hello all

Many thanks for the replies. Reckon I'll go with the cheaper wings and give them a good treating before fitting.
