Can anyone help with this problem. The front passenger window will not go down when operated from the switch in the car. It does work when using the key in the lock, and goes up from the interior switch once it is down. All the other windows work. This has baffled me. I've tested everything, but cant find the fault.

Was wondering if it could be linked to the Clifford alarm. On this note, does anyone know where I could get a new fob from.

Any help greatly appreciated.

The key in the door send a signal to the control unit to close or open all windows regardless. The switch on the centre console relies on either the key to be turned in the ignition or the door open to activate the windows. The fact that only one window is not going down, would lead me to suggest its the switch itself.

I think there is a wire that runs from the switch to the down part of the motor.

You can check the switch by simply switching switches with the starboard one.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have tried changing the switch, but to no avail. Would it be worth bypassing the current wiring?

You say you tried swopping out the switch... did you swop it for the driver's side switch? If so what happened?

Did you try the passenger switch on the driver's side? If so, what happened?

I can't see any fault that would cause this apart from a bad switch. And, by the way, door switches are different to centre console ones...

I had a problem with my elec windows only working with the doors opening. It was dirty fuses. i also had to disconnect alarm as it kept going off.
