Can anyone explain the function of the vacuum circuit attached to the electrical heater blower control and how i can test it
I have tested both lines and there is constant vacuum on the green/yellow line which i believe comes from the vacuum source at the engine. However whatever position the switch is at there is never a vacuum on the other connection or on the dark red line which attaches to it? i would have expected there to be a vacuum maybe when the control pointed to the clear windscreen (max) position to operate one of the flaps - is my blower control faulty? what does this vacuum circuit do ?
any advice very welcome as I am trying to trouble shoot an underperforming heating system.
