Hi,can anybody give me any ideas as to why the rear headrests are stuck in the up position on my E220ce.Also any pointers as to how they are actuated before I dive in to try and fix them.
While I'm here one of the headlamp wipers does'nt work either, any known faults I should be looking for.Thanks.
Paul.

Headlamp motors have a hard life, the only thing to do is to measure the voltage on the motor or use a bulb, you must try that first. If I can think of anyway to move the rear headrest I will come back, I have heard of this before.

Thanks for the advice chaps,as the rest of the vacuum system is working, I'm now hopefull that its just a damaged or dislodged pipe .As for the headlamp wiper I think I'll have to dive in and have a look.
Regards,
Paul.

OK checked the pipework and there was a kinked supply pipe to the headrest
valve.Fixed that and still nothing but if I bypass the valve and connect the pipes directly the headrests drop.So how do I test this solenoid valve,I'm starting to think it might be a iffy dashboard switch, help!
Thanks,Paul.
