W124 Outside Temperature Gauge Problem

My gauge does n't work at all. The screen is blank.

Any ideas?

Has it ever worked? Not all cars are fitted with it but they all have the cutout for one

If it once worked, but has now stopped, check the display with a torch to see if it's working. If it's not I see a trip to the dealer in your future, to buy a new display. If the sender failed I'd expect an incorrect display, not a blank display

Thanks for the reply. I have only just got the car and it's not working. There is an LCD there and and OTG is listed on the russian VIN website when I checked.

I will have a look with my torch!

Mat, sorry to drag this thread back up again but I have a similar problem. Did you ever get your temperature display sorted? If so, how?
