E300 Diesel...now with less dents!
Can anyone recommend a breakers yard/scrap merchant in and around the west midlands area (I am based in Birmingham) that might stock or be able to get hold of these doors?

I've tried ordering them from various places but the ones I have had delivered have either been entirely the wrong shape, colour or damaged.

I'd like to be able to inspect them before parting with dosh in the future.

Any suggestions welcome.

Do not forget in your quest that the earlier door without the plastic bottom pieces are drilled out the same as yours, you can just slide off the plastic strip and fit yours,,this is of coarse if you do not need the plastic panels

Any decent panel beater will sort that for you, remember the bottom bit doesnt need to be point perfect... can I ask? one of those little low down bollards in a car park.. our local sainsburys is full of 'em,

What a beautiful car you have there, sadly these things happen.

Have you asked a body shop what they can do,, that damage is not so bad , though it would need the plastic part , they are easy to pick up from a breaker and have it painted

It was a metal bollard at the end of our road, quite a sharp turn onto the main road.

A family member took the turn a little bit too early and clonked the door as they went round.

The bollard has since been pancaked by a large truck that did the same.

Its the actually finding a decent breaker that I am having the problem with, I'm not ordering one over the phone again after the mishaps I have had with that in the recent past.

Right let this be a warning to all who ring up and order panels over the phone..DONT DO IT.. These guys will sell you anything, then blame the transport guys for the damage..

First attempt.

Second attempt. Nice warp in the arch and the quarter glass did not survive either time.
