As I seem to be letting my car treat me as its "Bitch" I would like to know how difficult it is to re bush the whole rear of the car, including sub frame bushes. I did the front, but the back is shot.

it's simple nut's & bolt's but as with all older car's it's a lot of work never that easy .the subframe bushes need pressed in the susp link's 5 a side if all are fitted you will need to have the wheel's tracked as the rear is adjustable .but what i would say is do the two front subfram bushes then see how it feel's .when i did mine i did the link's first & found the car was still a poor on the bend's i then did the front bushes on the subfram & what a change it was a lot tighter

nice 201 2.5D 1993 & very nice 129 SL500 1994
If the rear sub frames front mounting bushes are tired then the rear ones will soon follow them, as said its not easy getting the old ones out and the new ones need to be pressed in, its awkward to say the least.

To go with the new bushes fit new shocks as well they made all the difference to mine.
