Hi Guys
Just reading the other thread on here about converting a W124 to remote locking by connecting to the vacuum pump. I am planning a different way of doing it and just wondered if you thought it feasible.....
I have already fitted a £25 remote locking kit to my Porsche very successfully, but it had no central locing at all. Here is my idea for the Merc.
What if I fit just one central locking actuator in the drivers door connected to the vacuum actuator already installed? Then, when I activate the locking, the new actuator will work the original one, thus activating the rest of the vacuum system.
Will it work do you think....? (i.e. would it be possible to connect one to the other?)
