Can anyone provide me with a copy of a service schedule for a W124 type Mercedes (E220). I have just bought a beatiful Silver '94 E220 with 125K on clock. Although it came with a service book stamped to 60K by a MBMD, when the last owner, who I have known for 10yrs, bought it in 98, there is no invoices or receipts for work done. The chap I got the car from, ((it was replaced by a new E-Class) had it serviced at a local mechanic every 6-8K but had no invoices or receipts for me giving an indication of what work was carried out. I reckon he had to submit them to claim back VAT. I was interested in what needs checked/adjusted/replaced at particular mileages.
Normally I would not touch a car without service bumff, but I just had to have this car . As you guys know, it drives heavenly.
