Morning all,

I have had a E280 W124 (Which I beleive must be one of the last ones made as its an "N" reg ??)
Here it is again anyway....

Well it was given to me as a gift, so made a perfect during the week car. Problem is now I absolutely love it. SO ive decided to stop throwing money at my Skyline for a month and sort out the things that need doing on this handsome beast.
If you fine gentleman could point me in the right direction for the below parts it would be much appreciated....

Front wings (gone ****** rusty)

New dash (some absolute imbosile, decided to drill a hole in it for the "clifford alarm light  )

Sterio Aerial.

And reccomending a good leather repair/specialist in Essex wouldnt go a miss either ha ha.

Also, there seems to be some hatch on both skirts, one is missing ? Any ideas where to get one from ??

Thanks for your time,

Brad.

Nice looking car, well worth sorting I think.

The front wings are a common problem, nothing for it but to replace them if you want it done properly. Their cheap and easy enough. I have heard stories of aftermarket items not fitting too well though.

How big is the hole in the dash? Can it be plugged? I should think there'd be no problem getting another one from a breaker but changing it must be a whole load of work.

The aerial is also quite common, one or more of the plastic teeth in the mechanism goes awol.

The hatch on the skirts I'm guessing is a cover for the jacking points?

I was recently pointed in the direction of these guys, http://www.ThreePointedParts.co.uk robparker on here, they seem to have the odd spare kicking around. :)

2017 '17' Ford Mondeo 2.0TDCi ST Line X 180 (sorry)
im not sure how this occurred but in carlisle ive seen a couple of 124's running around quite regularly. no surprise there. till you look again and 1 is a 1997 'R' reg (i went to buy it thinking it would be a 210) and the other is on a 'T' plate!!!!:shock::shock:
point is maybe yours isnt as close to a last one as you think? or theres been a dodgy deal going on somewhere!

I've seen one on an 'R' plate before, must have been old stock being sold.

R and T plate W124s are most likely to be the kits that were made for assembly in India. Loads of these were assembled then shipped to the UK and sold as "new" cars.
