My 1988 300E finally let me down yesterday, pulled away and about 10 yards from the house it stopped dead and refuses to restart. The engine cranks normally and I can hear the fuel pump working. I've done basic checks - there is a good spark and the plugs are wet with petrol. Any advice appreciated - I'm stuck.
