Hi all, just noticed my '93 E320 estate W124 is leaning to one side at the front end. Almost sure it has shortened springs on the front, as it has always sat nose down at the front. Can i take it that one of my springs has gone??? And if so where to buy sports springs, how much and how difficult to fit???? Oh yes, i'm in Germany and its a left hooker. Was thinking of getting something newer, but my wife is having non of it!!!!! Will be looking at doing a couple of upgrades, so wait out for more questions:D

Many thanks
Steve

You may well have a snapped spring on one side. It's common. I'd replace with a pair of the correct MB springs for that car

While you're at it I'd strongly recommend replacing the front balljoints (£13 each) and I would definitely replace the front ARB bushes (£20 a set)

You may, unfortunately, have a car where the balljoints are in one unit with the wishbones and are not replaceable. Deep-ish wallet required if that's the case
