I have just got back my W124 Coupe (1994) from my independent.
It went there for two problems,
1 Slight misfire at low speeds.
2 Intermittent starting
The misfire appears to have been an ignition coil
The starting appears to have been due to the throttle box needing cleaning?
However, if this bit needs replacing I am told it is £500 plus.
Any suggestions, or other sources more financially acceptable?
