Hi all, as per title, anyone know where I can get a crankshaft position sensor for the W126?
GSF said they had 2 types, sent me both and both wrong unfortunately

not fussed if it’s not OEM

No part number on the sensor but the one removed is one piece and majority of the cable is green in colour approx 50” long

Dreamer/Star thanks for your messages

reason for replacement is I am restoring a 300SE and I have crank but no spark, coil and Ezl have been replaced previously and I’ve checked the resistance across the cps and have 2.4ohms. Spec should be 800-1200. So obviously doesn’t fall within range of any sort. Appreciate Coil and EZL are the common issues I’m pretty certain mine lies with the CPS.

I’ve been advised that Mercedes Dorset/Poole deal in classic car parts so I’ll start there, I also explored the option of a CPS from an R129 which seem to share the same measurements of loom (just over) and depth of cps which is approx 40mm

long story short I’ll let you know how I get on. Appreciate your input gents thank you
