W126 380 SEC Headlamp Wiper/Washer

Hi Fellow members,

my first post so please be gentle with me

As above i have a W126, 380 SEC, the headlamp wipers work when the lights are on full beam. Unfortunately there doesnt seem to be any washer fluid going to the nozzle and spraying on the headlamp!

Any suggestions - i cant see any visible pipes going from the windscreen fluid tub to the front of the chassis.

Any advice would be welcome. Also mercedes are charging £22.40+VAT per item for headlamp wipers!!!!!!! Thats a weeks petrol money. Any alternatives......

Hi T,
Great news, the washer system is already plummed in. I took off the front bumber and all the pipeworks are there. i traced them back to the washer fluid container and found that the pipe leadeing to the pump had a kink in it as it wasnt properly placed when pushed down into the void. all is working very well now! cheers
