W126 / 500 SEC Gearbox Oil.

I need to top up my gearbox oil - Can someone tell me what oil to use on a 1987 500 SEC please. The manual doesn't specify unfortunately.

Shell Donax TA D-21666,21774.....Castrol TQD 22256.......BP Autran MBX

You local MB dealer will have the correct one

Local Merc. dealer is ordering in the oil now - It's their own brand though. In case it's of any interest to anyone else it's part no. - 0009899203. £9.35 a litre. Not sure how that compares to the brands listed above here.
