The situation is dim in my '84 280 SE.
There is no dash, console or gearshift lighting. The roof light works (manually), the door switches work since the front door lights turn on. Rear door lights do not work. The rear courtesy light switch also does nothing. Happily the glovebox light is good to go ! All the fuses check out fine. What's going on?
I find it hard to believe that all these circuits have dud wires or connections.
Is there some central loom connector or cct-breaker somewhere that I should check?? Can anyone direct me to a wiring diagram to make my life easier?
HELP !
Ziggy.

Hello and welcome,,I would have said that the little red fuse on the rear of the instrument cluster had blown

Could it be the rheostat on the rear of the cluster if its not that fuse? It seems a common fault and easy to replace.
