W126 power seat woes

Among the myriad gremlins in my '84 500 SEL are limited function on the driver's power seat: forward & back works, and the front lifter works, but the seat back, rear lifter and headrest are frozen.

I have a replacement switch from the breakers, which I will install this weekend.

My question: if the motors are frozen for the disabled functions, can I open the seat back and adjust the seat manually? It would be wonderful to raise the seat height a little bit, raise the headrest and adjust the backrest angle.

Any suggestions?

Sorry as far as I am aware. No manual adjusment is can be carried out.
