W140 boot opener - Help Needed

A mate has just bought an S320 (W140 series) & the boot opener has failed withe the handle out.
Any ideas on how I may be able to get into it to sort it out?
All replies appreciated!

124 300 CE 24 Coupe, C220CDI, Porsche 911 4s, Dolomite sprint,
pull up the rear seat, there your find the pump for the locking, disconnect the one pipe that says halt, blow so air down there, should open it!!

How do i know that Malc??

Mobilo tech!!

Same as the 210's, owners liked locking the keys in the boot, hence we had to know how to get them out without damage!!!
