I think I've got a progressive electrical fault, but hopefully you can tell me its a well known problem and only takes five minutes to fix.
I've got a '96 W140 420S with no apparent major problems except it seems to be packing up bit by bit.
First the blower stopped, then after a week or so the washer motor seemed to stop though it still gives a trickle on to the screen, and now the heater has given up the ghost. A seemingly unrelated event is a blown bulb in the rear plate illumination, which I noticed was on the same cicuit as the blower when I checked the fuses.
The fuses look fine and appear intact with no corrosion.
Any ideas?
