Was wondering if anyone has had an experience with their W140 (1993 300SE) IR lock not responding for about 30 seconds after the ignition is turned off. Problem happens every so often (50% of time). Tried synchronizing system and ensuring battery is properly charged.
Had changed my upper engine wiring harness a few years back & not sure what to do now.

All I can think of is a lazy switch in the drivers door, if this is the case then it would make no difference from what side you tried
