W163 air con issue

Hello I'm hoping one of you may be able to shed some light on this for me I've got a 2004 ml270 w163 air con blower stopped 2 days ago totally then it decided it would blow out of rear vents only for about 20sec then again stop completely lm thinking control module and if so how hard are they to fit
If anyone has any other ideas as to reason please help electrics aren't my strong point

Regas was last year its just the blower that doesn't blow

I am assuming that the blower is the same one that blows hot air in winter. Right ?
To rule out the aircon aspect, I would pretend it is winter, set the settings to max hot setting and turn the blower on.
If it stays on as expected, then the blower electrics are fine.
