I recently had my EIS REPAIRED and driving from the local shop my ml.cut out and would not start. An auto electrician found a fuse had blown in the main fuse box in the engine compartment. This was replaced and the car started and was able to drive. Immediately I noticed that the engine light had come on and now I fear that something major has gone wrong.please assist

Hello and welcome

If main fuses are blowing then you’ve a pretty bad short going on. I’d take it back to whoever repaired the EIS and get them to check that all the cables are routed correctly and not catching against anything
