W166 ML250 oil leak from near turbo

Car went into limp mode had AA out said turbo was ****ed so went to garage to confirm this They said same thing so turbo off and reconditioned. Turbo back on still nothing more parts and £££ at it nowt!!.....so thought auto electrician came out spent 4hours going through all electronics on car turned out to be a bent prong in a plug anyway im getting a small leak from here anyone else had the same problem? Don't want to take it to garage cos they didn't seem to know what they are doing so any advice would be much appreciated

Known weak poimt, take pipe off, clean it all up, look if there is a seal under there, replace seal and replace rubber hose. any leak is beacuase there is no seal, typical response- turbo is done, turbos rarely fail, its usually something connected to the turbo, so in this case, too much air getting in and making the turbo act up....I would say your turbo was fine.

I have had actuators fail and crap garages say turbo,
I had air leaks and garage says turbo

Best bet always is to use a Mercedes independent garage
