[W168] Key Replacement

What sort of price is it to replace a key for the W168? One of mine will remote unlock the doors but won't lock them again. Assuming just the microswitch is to blame can I just solder on a new switch?

Normally the tactile switch will have lifted from the PCB, they can be soldered back on again, this happens when the case starts to split.

Yeah the case has split open. Doesn't look like a leg has lifted.

I repair some keys, the cost is £20 on average, no fix no charge. You can buy the cases on ebay about £5

thats a good try . one of mine fell off the car when going down the drive think it was 140£
