W169 Instrument Pod

So I'm going to replace the pixel display - anyone know how to remove the instrument pod? I see there are two little slots either side that you obviously must put a tool in but thought I'd ask first before poking random screwdrivers, bits of old coat hanger etc! Many thanks!

You need two hooks, as pictured. This WIS file should help

Insert the two probes shown into the slots located either side of the instrument cluster with both hooks in the upright, vertical position. Twist both probes inwards towards the instruments 90 Degrees at the same time and withdraw the cluster. Do not force it..! Keep trying until the hooks properly engage and release the cluster.
