Hi - we have a problem with our W176 A180 with 270 petrol engine.
Sometimes under initial acceleration it will just bog down then it will respond as normal.
Other times it’s completely sluggish. Foot to the floor and very little speed increase.
Then it will be absolutely fine for a few gear changes.
The behaviour will be different gear change to gear change.
No faults shown on Star. The only thing close to a problem I can find is that the G3/1 oxygen sensor doesn’t get to the state of ‘readiness’ required for Lambda control tests or Mixture adaption.
Has anyone seen this type of problem before to help me zero in on the problem a bit faster? (It’s the wife’s car and life will be easier the faster I sort it!)
