W201 fuel consumption

Diff icult to be accurate I know, but anybody know what the average MPG for a 190E 2 litre auto should be? I thought 30 mpg was reasonable on a mix of driving but can't seem to get anywhere near.

Parker's says 24-44 mpg using 4 star petrol.

You'll be running it on unleaded now I suppose so that will make it worse I guess.

I'd be satisfied with around 27 mpg overall I think.

What are you getting?

Slightly different I know but mine is a 2.0 auto. On a run with a family and full boot, I got about 33 on a motorway haul through France. Around town, I don't know, though i have now fixed my odometer so may have the chance to work something out later.

My 190e 2L "K" reg. auto does about 250miles per tank of unleaded, mainly town driving I have been unable to improve on that, auto set in "E" Mode.

Thanks - I'm getting mid 20's but thought it would be a little better - my E320 Cab does that!
