I've got a C280 with ASR from 1994
New installed Delfi engine wireharness a decade ago.
The error I see is very odd.
Car starts ok and idles ok. But when ever you go past 3500 rpm. It hits the limiter just like when your parked in P or N and rev the engine it's limited to 3500 rpm. This continues under driving.
Another problem is if you move the throttle past 50% the engine is killed. The Rev counter drops to 0 even before the engine is dead.
And at the same time the fully automatic AC is flikkering/changing settings.
After this happens, the engine can't be started for the next 1-10 minuts. It's very difrent how long that period of time is.
So more than 50% throttle it's killed and if your lucky and remove the foot from the throttle as quick as it hits the dead point. It sometimes will not go dead even though the engine revs were on the way down it somehow. Catches back to life before it hits 0 rpm.
The error code thrown to the 38 pole round connector is as follow. These can be erased again but will pup up again if the more than 50% throttle position is done again.
Pin 6 ABS/ASR i think.
Code 30 can bus data line to CC/ASR/Idle controle module.
Code 31. Can bus data to LH-SFi module.
Pin 7 EA/CC/ISC with ASR I think.

Closed throttle regognition signal to engine controle module HFM-SFI/LH-SFi
Fuel safety shut off to engine controle module HFM-SFI
I've measured the throttle switch S29/3 inside the throttle pedal.
Idle position
spec: 900-1100 Ohms. measured = 960 Ohm
Pushed passed idle position
Spec: >20K Ohms. Measured = no Ohms. Open circuit.
At ignition 4.99 Volt. Ok.
At movement 1.2 Volt. Ok.
All the controle boxes with throttle body, has been tried changed from another car identical to this one. But same problems is there in this car and all the boxes nd throttle body worked with no problems in the other car.
So I'm i looking for some canbus wires between the boxes that are broken?
Help is much apriciated.
