I need some help to figure out, what could cause the simptomes of my car. Its a W202 220D.
Not so long ago, while driving downhill the following occured: The idle got really rough (even when you floor it, it accelerates rougly), and it smokes a lot. Now another simptome is that the EPC warning light lights up in corners, and at coldstarts (and doesn't go out, only if i stop the engine, and restart it). Funny thing is, that if the engine is cold, and when i start the car i dont let the glowplugs to warm up the cylinders, the idle is back to normal, no smoke whatsoever, until its warm. When it becomes warm, it has the simptomes i've mentioned above. I'am really really courious what that could be, i've already flushed the fuel system, but it didnt help, and it also might be important, that the car doesnt burn oil, i didnt have to correct the level.
