So I still have my c180 elegance (only including as question is trim related) it just keeps on running, however the bodywork and paint needs attention, so I'm in the process of tidying her up (finances wont allow professional work).

Was wondering if anyone could offer any information as to how easy (or not) it is to remove the plastic chrome trim ?

Also, are the door handles a chore to remove ?

If I have to I'll mask but obviously want to do best possible job.

Any information on this would be greatly appreciated.

The wing and door trim strips are easy to remove.
I think the door cards have to come off to remove the handles but it's not too hard.

Thank you for replying.

Can you offer any advice on how the trim is removed ?

The front wing trims just pry off.
The door trims slide and then pull off, once a small bolt or screw has been removed from one end.

Thank you.

Sorry but do you mean the whole plastic trim (to which plastic chrome is attached) ? or just the plastic chrome ?
