Hi again guys, After discovering my front belt is mashed and needs replacing, im after what its called so i can ask for one... I dont wanna call MB and say,
'err hi im after the big belt that goes round the front of the engine'

Also, once i locate one of these belts, im curious as to how it fits, ive taken some pics,

Am i correct in thinking this pulley from the close up pics is the tensioner?

Is it spring loaded or does it need to be removed? A friend of mine says if i can get a big bar on it, it may spring inwards slacking off the belt?

I thought it best i ask here before i go breaking stuff...

So any help please?

EDIT HERE:

I did try a little search before i posted this, but seeing as i didnt know what im actually looking for is called, i didnt get very far

Let me have your email address and I will send the details

You do not have to remove the fan as you do not have one

Cool beans, i see it, Although, im slightly confused by it....

I see i guessed right with which pulley to attack, But im unsure if the diagram is telling me ive got to remove the puley completly?

I also see that the pulley has a hex on the end of the thread, and a nut on the thread also, which one am i suppose to be undo-ing?

I do apreciate the help so far... Your a star!

Yes as satwinder you turn 4 with a E10 socket to release the tension and slip it off ,,do not touch any pulleys

i presume you spin the thread with the E10 then? As if i was undo-ing a normal nut (rachet on release so to speak)

And then to re tension, i just tighten up the E10 thread again?

Sorry for all the questions, i just wanna make sure im right before i start.... These cars are nothing like the Civics im used to working on...

I think that just by turning that nut 4 swings the tensioner part 2 in the link so that the belt comes off, it does not undo
