W202 C230 Electrical nightmare

1996 C230 exceptional condition except the electrical system is just a disaster zone,

1)Heater only blows hot, though central dash vents blow cold, all others blow hot?
2) Heater control lights flash in daytime, when headlights are used all is in darkness?
3)Heated rear window doesn't work,
4)Rear headrest switch doesn't work?
5)Drivers door e/window simultaneously opens passenger window too, which then stays down, have to turn engine off, rest, and then igntion back on to power window up?

Surely there must be a relay/circuitboard/computer which control all these things (all fuses are OK). I read somewher about disconnecting the battery leads for 30 secs or more to reset to default settings, anyone done this?
G/freinds C180 has similar but other problems so it must be a reconised fault with these cars? does anyone know?

Do look in the front control box and check for any water or dampness under the same. If it is wet inside there are two modified lids now for it..

Hi,
The heater will only give you cold air from the centre vent as it is a fresh air vent.

Hi, this is my first post as I've just bought a 1995 C220 Elegance Diesel and I have the same problems as you with the heaters only blowing hot air and the lights flashing in daytime but not when i turn the headlights on, just darkness - did you find a solution?
