w202 C240 Sport

Hello, newly purchased C240 has six spoke alloys and 205, 55, 16 tyres but one suprise was the alloy spare, is this normal?

The car seems to stack up with no dodgy history and is HPI clear. My dads elegance as a steel spare so I was a little concerned.

Couldn't be sure. What spec is it. If the previous owner upgraded, there may be only 4, and a lot of more modern MBs only come with 4. My SL has only 4 and my CE had 5

Car spec

It is a standard C240 Sport estate and is the 2.4l five speed auto (not tiptronic), the only option I am aware of is leather. The wheel has been used at some stage and fits perfectly nicely in the well but it just seems strange.

Both my w202 sports have had 5 alloys, where as I am aware the Elegance models have a steel spare. So the answer is yes this is normal.

My 1999 c220 cdi sport estate has 5 alloys too so I guess this is normal.
