A little more info please,, so the car does not unlock or start,,do the headlamps come on, and stay on bright

Check the batteries at least 3V and synchronise(press 3 times and quickly insert the key in the ignition and turn to position 2, within 30 sec. green light flashes mean it OK, red not OK)

He said is bell shape and therefore keyless DAS fob.

Hi, just tried the sequence as you suggested once i have done the procedure no lights are emmitted from the fob.

Hi, i have just tried the procedure as you suggested, but the fob didnt emmit any lights once turned to position 2

Hold the key infront of a camera and you will see the IR beam if it is working

Then this is where it gets difficult,,has the key drifted out of range, or is it a DAS (drive authorization system)

One thing you could try is to disconnect the battery and leave it for 5 mins and then re connect and see if it clears

tried disconnecting the battery, re connected still no progress, disconnected and waiting five minutes then will try again.
