Guys,
Have not posted for a while, have a problem with 1994 W202 (C180).
lowered both rear windows for some ventilation, when i rolled them back up rear n/s motor kept running and window stayed half closed.
removed the door panel (at the roadside) and found a rather rusted piece of steel cable came away in my hand.
I really need either a "blown-up" picture or schematic or even good advice on what to do next as i ain't goin nowhere near my main stealer.
My problem is compounded by having a Clifford Concept 650 alarm fitted which closes all the windows and kicks in a microwave perimeter sensor, now when i arm the alarm the windows roll up but this window rolls down as the "roll-up" section of cable is no longer there.
it's as though the motor isn't sensing the stopping points?
any help appreciated
