one of the fobs is draining the batteries in about a week. they drain if the fob is used or not? the correct batteries are being used and at over £5 a set, it has become a redundant fob. a new one is going to be £180. would like to try to fix this fob before ordering a new one. has anybody had this problem and fixed it.

Hi,
I,m presuming you have the single button, flip out key blade type.
I had a similar problem with mine though mine were lasting a bit longer 6-8 weeks, I put mine down to where i was buying them being old stock and they had been sat on the shelf for months possibly years i changed the supplier now there lasting in excess of 6-8 months and still going strong.
