W202 heaters

Hi

I have a W202 C200 P reg, the heaters in my car dont seem to blow out much
air , they get hot and the blower sound fine but not much air is coming though the vents, any advice please.

under the glove-box in the passenger footwell.

Hi,
As previously mentioned replace the pollen filter in the passagerside footwell
the filter i bought from "euro car parts" even had the instructions on how to do it (very good to surprisingly) bit fiddly to get the cover back on but not to bad.
Filter was very cheap about a fiver i think.

While you have the filter out, run the fan up at all speeds. If your filter has been blocked for a while you can get debris build up in fan and other nooks and crannies. It will also let you know if your fan is in good nick. Mine gave up at about 105000 miles after running intermittently for some time.. New oem unit from Euro Parts is a little over £100 .
If you do opt for a blow thro. WATCH OUT FOR YOUR EYES

Ok I have now changed the filter, when the old one came out it had lots of debris in it, I did the blow through and yes the problem is now solved, I now have a nice warm car again.
