The left hand indicator on my C43 is occasionally playing up.

I'm assuming it's the switch assembly that's causing problems (all three LHS indicators work on the hazard switch).

Is this a known problem? Err....is it exspensive to fix?

Thanks

yes it is quite a common problem. We have replaced two combination switches. You can get the switches from GSF (amongst other places) cost varies according to type but around £50.

Yes you have to change the switch, though some get away with cleaning with a good non drying cleaner

Thanks Devonian

Roughly how much labour is involved? (trying to work out how much it's cost me to have it done)

Thanks TV - will probably go the whole hog and replace the switch since I'll be paying someone to dismantle it all anyway.

I HATE not having reliable indicators - although a sizeable number of people in London see to see them as optional. Same people who think using mirrors is also optional I suppose....
