Hello there again gentlemen, I have read the post by Anyweb regarding the repair he made to his fob. I have exactly the same problem, while I was trying to open the fob it was quite difficult must have been glued the switch fell out.
So now I am uncertain at to its orientation, I know the little switch must face upwards so it can be activated, does it matter which way it is soldered back in place. I have looked at the photographs in the thread and there are no markings to identify which way it is attached. any information gladly received.

Thanks in advance.

Either way around it does not matter, they are all double pole tactile.

Pipe solvent is the best thing to glue up a case with,, but difficult to undo again
