Hi All

The number 2 fuse (30A, in the boot) keeps blowing when I adjust the driver's electric seat. I've replaced the seat switch to no avail - in fact the fuse blows when I switch the ignition on. It's obviously a short somewhere - any ideas?

Look under the drivers seat and disconnect the plugs going to the seat & frame, replace fuse and turn ignition on. This should tell you whether its a wiring or a seat motor issue.
More than likely will be a seat adjusting motor, by unbolting the seat you should gain a better access to these motors and should be able to unplug the motors individually till the faulty one is found.

Take off the back cover on the seat back and check the wire which goes to the backrest motor. The chaff through on the right where it goes from the seat back down to the base on the metal frame.

Repair the wiring and then move the cable tie which holds wire to the backrest down a few runs on the seat, this gives it the nessessery slack so it wont happen again.
