Hi All,

I've got a facelift C220 CDI & just got it back from Mercedes after a few problems. The initial problems were, the engine management light came on, lack of power, not going over 3000rpm, bouncing rev's etc. Under warranty they replaced the intercooler breather hose, fuel lines in & out of the diesel filter & the CAM pressure sensor. They also removed the exhaust & checked the CAT (that was ok).

All now seems ok apart from when I'm accelerating slowly from say 30-40mph or when I'm cruising at around 40mph, the rev's are bouncing very slightly (by about 50rpm). Any ideas or should I just book it back in? The engine management light is not on now BTW.

Thanks.

only thing that could cause that, that could be found without booking it in, is poor/contaminated fuel, or possible slight air leak somewhere, but if its only done it since being with MB, id be inclined to get them to sort it. after all, it didnt do it before!

It can't be poor fuel as I only run it on Shell V Power Diesel.

I'll give them a bell tomorrow and book it back in, it's still under warranty anyway.

Thanks.
