W203 cd player

My CD player has never worked, can I get one from eBay that looks the same and plug straight in? Or are there variations of the single slot CD player that look the same?

Would I need a radio code?

Just plug and play sir, nothing to be coded.

Lift passenger inner cover up and off
Remove top chrome corner.
Lever front cover off the box from top.
Remover the single screw behind cover.
With a long flat screwdriver lever out the top of the side panel (2 clips)
Lift side panel up at front and lift out.

Do the same the other side

Remove the 4 screws hold the rear panel and lift out.

With a torx driver loosen the to screws behind the 2 holes in the rear of box and lift box up.

Do take car of the vacuum lock pipes and optic cables and unscrew the changer from the box.
