I have a C220 Estate that i want to change to a leather interior. Does anyone know of any good instructions for seat removal?

Also are the rear seats and door cards the same in the saloon and the estates?

Seats come out easily, just the 10mm bolts in the bottom rails and unplug the electrics.

I believe the door cards are the same, but the seats cannot be, someone will correct me on this

I just sold an absolute mint one for £300.
It was still nice and matte looking, even on the bolster.

I bought it and then Fiona said that she preferred the cloth, so I decided to not bother.

The whole thing is really is to swap, I took my interior out to clean it all properly, took me around 3 hours to take out and put back in again.

Just make sure that if you have part electric, buy the same, otherwise you may run into issues.

A tip. Undo the front seats, then recline them, then remove the battery cable and unplug the connectors, you can then slide them out through the back of the estate, trying to get them out through the doors is a mare.

The saloon seats won't fit the estate at all, so if you need an interior for an estate it doesn't matter whether the saloon interior has folding seats, the rear seats are completely different.

Thanks gizze, that saved a potential  moment.

I'll keep looking, there is a saloon one on ebay so it's good to know that's a no go. From the looks of things i don't need the door cards as mine are black already.

    Black what though?

The leather door cards have leather inserts...

I have half leather already so the door cards have a black leather "pepper pot?" insert - well i think it's leather :D

I've certainly seen cars with leather seats in this style.

Would have bought them off you had i have known!

I haven't thought of going down that route, good idea.:)

I was hoping to for around the £300 mark cost wise.

If it can be done within my budget can anyone recommend a seat trimmer in Yorkshire?

You can get complete fully made 'covers'. As per original spec.
These dont go over your existing cloth cover but replace it.
Its a lot of very hard work though.
I often see very good complete interiors at breakers.
If you can swap seats over - much easier.
