Just started today after a 100mile round trip, not far from getting back and sometimes when accelerating in 3rd, i get a judder a bit like a misfire, only does it in 3rd..so far, its stopped doing it after about 5 times, but i imagine it will be back before long, any ideas?

Hi there,
Is it a auto or manual?

if it is a auto it could have lost fluid causing slipping juddering, have you noticed any leaks on the drive.

if its a manual it could be the clutch slipping under load.

Quit possibly a air mass sensor fault have you noticed a general lack of performance with the car?

I hate to say this but it looks like the glycol issue, where the rad leaks into the gearbox messing up the torque convertor

Sorry yours is a manual, then it does not apply, I will see what I can find later.
