Hi, I've got a 53 Plate W203 coupe which appears to have fault in the passenger door central locking unit.

When the keyfob is pressed the drivers door locks and the passenger door pin goes up and down repeatidily as it attempts to lock. Sometimes it locks and sometimes it doesn't. I've taken the door panel of assuming the fault to be a sticking pin but this appears fine. I've also enabled the automatic door locking at 5-10mph about 4 months ago but I don't think thisis the cuase.

Any guidance would be a real help as I'm currently still recovering from my last MB service bill
Thanks, Chris

I think the seach on here is for 'bouncing button'. Forgive me if I've not enough knowledge and it's not appropriate for your car but I know it told me about this known fault on CLKs and what to do about it.

This is a common fault on these and needs a new door lock.
