Car Details: W203 - 2004 - C180k
A very weird thing has been happening for the past few days.
I don’t think the car registers that the key fob is out of the ignition.
When I take my key out of the ignition after driving, the radio will stay on for 7-10 seconds and the 'click' from the car won’t occur for about 10 seconds to lock the steering.
These times vary dependent on the time the car has been on.
I have checked with my spare key fob as i assumed it could be a key fob fault, but unfortunately the same is happening.
Yesterday the screen on binnacle came up with 'Remove Key' when the key was already removed...
Anyone have any ideas on this problem?
Any help is much appreciated.
